Advanced settings sit in a collapsed section at the bottom of the Assistant page. Most businesses never need to open it - your assistant works well with the defaults - but it's there for fine-tuning once everything else is set up.
Voice quality
Choose between two engines:
- Standard - the proven default. Reliable, consistent, and what every new assistant starts on.
- Natural (Beta) - a newer, more human-sounding voice engine for a more natural back-and-forth conversation. It's still being refined, so expect occasional rough edges.
The Test assistant button in the top-right of the Assistant page always uses Standard quality, regardless of which one you've selected - so it's a good way to check your instructions and greeting, but it won't demonstrate the Natural voice. Real phone calls use whichever quality you've chosen here.
Voice
Pick which of the available voices your assistant uses on calls. Use the Play voice button to preview a short sample before committing, and the 🇨🇿 / 🇬🇧 toggle next to it to hear the sample in Czech or English.
Language and fallback behavior
Two more fields appear here - a language override and a fallback behavior for when the assistant genuinely can't help. These are shown for visibility into what's coming, but aren't active yet in this version of the product; your assistant currently follows your business's default language (set in Settings → Business profile) and aims to match whatever language the caller actually speaks.
When to touch this section at all
A good rule of thumb: leave Advanced settings alone until you have a specific reason to change something - for example, switching to Natural voice quality once you've tried it on a few test calls and are happy with it, or picking a different voice because the default doesn't match your brand. There's no risk in experimenting - you can always switch back.
